Gennaro D. Calabrese, an Eagle Scout from Huntington, New York, attended the University at Albany, graduating magna cum laude with a degree in Psychology-Honors in 2006. While a student at the University at Albany, Jerry received the Award for Excellence in Undergraduate Research.

Following undergraduate studies, Jerry attended Albany Law School where he graduated cum laude in May 2009. At Albany Law, Jerry competed in Moot Court competitions, was a member of the Pro Bono Law Society, and interned at the Schenectady County Public Defender’s Office and the NYS Office of the Attorney General Litigation Bureau.

Jerry began employment with Kindlon Shanks & Associates in November 2009 and plans to focus on civil litigation and criminal defense. Jerry was admitted to practice in the New York State courts in January 2010. He is a member of the New York State Bar Association and the American Bar Association.
