Glen S. Hammond graduated magna cum laude from Arizona State University with a B.S.
in Justice Studies in 1988 and then spent six years conducting financial investigations
for the Arizona Office of the Attorney General and then as a contract employee for
the United States Department of Justice. Glen graduated from the Sandra Day O’Connor
College of Law at A.S.U. in 1997, receiving the school’s recognition from the International
Academy of Trial Lawyers, a Pro Bono recognition and also honors in legal research
and writing.
Glen practiced criminal and administrative law for over twelve years
in Arizona and has tried over 100 cases to verdict. He has handled cases ranging
from Aggravated Assault, Armed Robbery, Child Molestation, DUI, Drug Trafficking,
Sexual Assault and Vehicular Manslaughter to Murder. He was the advisor to the Phoenix
City Counsel regarding liquor licensing issues for four years while he was with the
Phoenix City Prosecutor’s Office. He received two Barrister Awards for his “outstanding
advocacy skills” at trial while at that office.
Glen was admitted to the New York
Bar in July of 2010, and is admitted to practice before the United States District
Court of Arizona, the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit and also
the Supreme Court of the United States.
Glen’s charitable activities have focused
on the Special Olympics, Valley Big Brothers/Big Sisters and also “Veterans Stand
Down” to assist military veterans clear outstanding charges.
