The trial of a man charged with beating his mother and stepfather to death in Schaghticoke on July 4, 2013, is set to begin Oct. 27 in Rensselaer County Court. Defense attorney Terence Kindlon said he will present a defense of not guilty by reason of mental disease or defect in the case of Anthony Repp, who is charged with one count of first-degree murder and two counts of second-degree murder.
